Q: Are your memberships single or family memberships?
A: West Bay Club Memberships are family memberships with children up to age 23.
Q: How is Troon part of the West Bay Club?
A: West Bay is Managed by the Troon Golf Club Management. Troon is the leading golf course management company providing its members access to a complete portfolio of private, daily-fee, semi-private, Cliff Drysdale Tennis, and much more.
Q: What tee time system does your club use?
A: Our system allows you to make tee-times through Members First, join other golf groups, sign up for tournaments/outings, enroll in instructional golf lessons, and more. We have PGA and LPGA Professionals on staff to assist with improving your golf game.
Q: Are there golf groups to join?
A: We have a variety of men’s and ladies' golf groups available everyday. Our 9-holers are also very active at West Bay Club. Our Golf Shop will pair you with the perfect group upon joining.
Q: What is the average age of club members?
A: Our average age varies greatly at West Bay. We have a variety of families living at West Bay from all stages of life such as families, semi-retired, retired, and professionals.
Q: What is the golf membership cap?
A: Currently, our cap is at 300 golf members for 18 holes of our Dye golf course.
Q: Is West Bay Club an equity club?
A: West Bay is an Equity Member-Owned private Golf Club which refers to owning shares in the club and voting rights of ownership. The joining fee is a non-refundable amount. New Premier members will receive a West Bay Club equity certificate upon joining the club.
Q: Are the memberships refundable/transferable?
A: The initiation fee is non-refundable. Memberships may only be transferred via a Premier Member transferring their membership with the sale of their home.
Q: What amenities does the West Bay community offer?
West Bay provides its residents with the best amenities including exceptional dining, a private Beach Club, our community Bay House, 8 Har-Tru Tennis courts, Pickleball, Bocce, Dog Park, Fitness Center, and River Park.
Q: How many homes are in the West Bay community?
A: Our community is comprised of 704 single family homes, coach homes, and condos surrounded by 890 acres of lush preserve.
